October in MAINE

We've had a string of beautiful days here in Greene, Maine and the sunsets have been spectacular. WV8 Coxswain Gabby Bilotta '14 provided the photo above. She was in the safety launch for one session while the women were in the pairs and she thoughtfully brought along a camera.

Quinsigamond Snake Regatta

The first race of the season is finally upon us. The crews will be heading to Worcester, MA on Saturday morning looking to continue the success that has been the norm at this regatta. They've had more than a month of practicing, erg testing and racing against one-another and it's clear that an actual regatta is needed. These athletes thrive on competition and it's time to put themselves to the test. We'll be racing the usual suspects: WPI, Conn College, Simmons, Colby, Bowdoin, Mt. Holyoke, Holy Cross, and many others.

Racing will begin at 9:45am with the Men's Fours and the Eights will be racing at 11:00am. Additional information regarding directions, parking and viewing the races can be found on the QRA website: www.qra.org.
